ABOUT YOUR SHOT USA

‍The world’s biggest DJ competition is finally landing in the USA.

Since launching in Australia in 2010, Your Shot has transformed over 12,500+ everyday people into performing DJs - many of whom now hold residencies, play regular gigs, and tour the globe. 

After 15 years of turning dreams into reality across Australia and New Zealand, we’re bringing this life-changing experience to the United States.

WHAT IS YOUR SHOT?

‍Your Shot isn’t just a competition - it’s a launchpad.

Designed for total beginners, no experience is necessary.

We take people from all walks of life and train them from scratch. Over six weeks, you’ll learn how to DJ through hands-on training with industry professionals.

You’ll build your very first DJ set. Then, you’ll step up and perform live at a sold-out, two-day Showcase Event - your debut on a real stage, in front of a real crowd.


HOW IT WORKS

+ Apply online to be considered for Your Shot in your city.

+ Attend your cities Registration Day to be selected.

+ Once selected, receive 6 weeks of DJ training at The Academy in your city.

+ Learn the skills, build your set, and find your sound.

+ Perform live for the first time at the Your Shot USA Event Weekend - a two-day showcase with all finalists performing sets they have curated over the last 6 weeks.

+ Compete for major prizes, industry exposure, and the shot of a lifetime.
